Touts dual advantage of new product.

Mumbai, India-based Kara, a part of Birla Cellulose's consumer product division, has introduced Hand Sanitizing Wipes with a dual advantage of cleansing as well as sanitizing while leaving behind a pleasing fragrance.

Sanitizing the hands is a must since hand to mouth transmission of germs is the most common way to get infected. And cleaning the hands is the first line of defence against the spread of these germs.

Available in small handy packs these Kara wipes can be used anywhere and anytime, especially when one is on the move or on the street.

Kara Wipes are made from 100% natural fibers that are manufactured by Birla Cellulose, a global leader in viscose staple fiber. The company says these wipes are pure, soft and have high absorption capacity enabling them to effectively guard against germs while ensuring that they are gentle to the skin. In addition the wipes are hygienic, skin friendly and do not leave any lint on the skin.

Moreover, the company touts Kara wipes are also dermatologically tested and ensure 99% removal of germs. Each Kara wipe consists of ingredients like triclosan—a potential antibacterial and antifungal agent and aloe vera, a natural leaves juice that cleans and keeps the skin hydrated and nourished.
