Malaysia's NTPM expands diaper business

New plant will double the production capacity of personal care products.

Malaysia's Nibong Tebal Paper Mill Holdings Bhd (NTPM) is investing over RM 20 million (~$6.2mn) for a new plant to expand its personal care product business  produce diapers, facial cottons and sanitary napkins at the new plant in Nibong Tebal, which would be ready for operation by the end of 2015. Currently NTPM’s market share for diapers under the brand name Diapex is about 10% in the country. NTPM has sales offices in in Singapore, Bangkok and Hatyai.
