Lynda Kelly has been named senior vice president, care business area and a member of the corporate executive team at Suominen Corporation, effective in mid May. Kelly has a long and wide-ranging experience in nonwovens business, especially in hygiene, medical and wiping products.
Most recently, she acted as director, global medical and wipes at First Quality Nonwovens. Prior to that she has worked at John R Starr, Inc. as senior consultant, being responsible for worldwide medical and consumer nonwoven research, and at BBA Nonwovens, where she held several managerial positions. Kelly will report to Nina Kopola, president and CEO of Suominen Corporation, and acting senior vice president of care business area.

Suominen’s care business area supplies value-added nonwovens for medical and hygiene applications such as swabs and feminine care products. The business area was formed in the beginning of 2014.
