EDANA, the International Association representing the nonwovens and related industries, confirmed the sixth edition of FILTREX Europe, a leading nonwovens filter media conference, which will be held in Berlin October 1-2, 2014.
The FILTREX program will feature a mix of technical and market-related papers on nonwovens in all type of filter media applications, with a focus on oil, cabin air, industrial air, engine intake air, and fuel filtration, in addition to air pollution control, and indoor air quality.
“An ever-increasing awareness for individuals and for authorities of the need to control our immediate environment, be it at home, in the workplace or while travelling means that filters, especially those made with nonwoven components play an essential role in our everyday lives," says Pierre Wiertz, general manager of EDANA. "Helping to promote the benefits of and demand for nonwoven filter media across the globe is a key area of support that EDANA provides to the industry, and the FILTREX conference will provide manufacturers and companies along the supply chain with valuable insight and information about their sector.”
Like its previous editions, FILTREX 2014 will attract attendees from producers of all types of filter media, raw material suppliers, laboratories and research institutions.
FILTREX also includes an exhibition providing producers, converters of filter media and equipment suppliers with the opportunity to display their products and keep customers and potential clients up-to-date with their products and services.
