Precision Fabrics granted patents for acoustic nonwovens

Precision Fabrics Group (PFG) has been granted two U.S. Patents related to its Nexus AFR acoustic facing material.

U.S. Patent numbers US8439161 B2 and US8403108 B2 relate to the Nexus AFR Nonwoven facing material. The patents describe a facing material invention and how fiber-based acoustic parts using the facing material can be optimized to improve acoustic performance, reduce weight and improve economics.

PFG is currently manufacturing the material in Greensboro, NC and selling commercially into the global automotive, aerospace, industrial equipment and architectural industries.
