Korean nonwovens manufacturer looks to expand in U.S.

A Korean-based nonwovens manufacturer that is seeking to open a facility at an undisclosed site in Davidson County, NC, has received approval from county officials for $172,800 in incentives, according to the Lexington Dispatch. The manufacturer, referred to as Project Soft, has several facilities in the U.S. It would invest $12 million in the project and is considering other areas of the Southeast for the facility.
