Bolger & O'Hearn develops odor absorbing textile effect

May 22, 2013

Bolger & O’Hearn has introduced its new advanced odor protection, OdorArmor. The durable textile effect is designed to control bacterial growth and absorb odors. Textiles treated with OdorArmor absorb and lock-in body odors as well as outside environmental odors on contact. The active component of OdorArmor rapidly absorbs odors and locks them into their core structure, while the antimicrobial component keeps fabrics fresh smelling by preventing bacterial growth the company says. This innovative textile effect adds significant value to treated products by bringing customers increased wearer comfort and trend-setting performance.

”This product was the result of continual market demand to develop better odor absorbing effect in materials,” says Shaun O’Hearn, president, Bolger & O’Hearn. “After tremendous effort, we’re proud to launch Odor Armor. It delivers on the great value proposition of absorbing odors more quickly, and most importantly for customers, it works.”
