Daio adding plant in Nantong City, China

Daio Paper, the Japanese maker of disposable diapers and other hygiene products, has announced plans to establish a subsidiary in Nantong City, Jiangsu Province, China. The new site, which will make baby and adult diapers, will allow Daio to increase its marketshare in the fastest growing region for diapers in China while making its production more cost competitive with other Chinese-made brands. Construction on the site is already underway, according to executives.
