Ontex consolidates sites in Northern France

March 16, 2015

Efforts aim to secure spot in adult inco market.

Ontex will consolidate its production sites in Arras and Wasquehal, France into a new site located halfway between the two locations in Northern France. The new site will allow Ontex to not only improve its production capabilities but also better serve its customers both in France and internationally.

Specifically, the plan—including the construction of a state-of-the-art facility--is intended to improve Ontex’s long term perspectives in the adult incontinence market, an area where Ontex proved its commitment in February through the purchase of Artsana, a leading producer and distributor of adult incontinence products in Italy.

The move does not eliminate any of the two sites’ workforce, according to the company.
