Medline names Kristofer Howard as CFO

Medline Industries, Inc., the nation's largest privately held manufacturer and distributor of medical and surgical supplies, announced today that Kristofer Howard has joined the company as its CFO. Howard has more than a dozen years of experience in finance and accounting leadership roles at Baxter and KPMG, as well as strong experience in commercial operations also at Baxter. At Medline, Howard will be responsible for the company’s growing global finance and accounting organization.

Howard has an MBA in finance from the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Eastern Illinois University.

As the nation's largest privately held manufacturer and distributor of healthcare products, Medline manufactures and distributes more than 125,000 products to hospitals, extended care facilities, surgery centers, physician offices and home care dealers. Recently named one of the "100 Best Places to Work in Healthcare," Medline is headquartered in Mundelein, IL.
