Tenowo to add to output at NC plant

January 14, 2013

$7.6 million investment will target growth in automotives.

Tenowo, the U.S. arm of Textilgruppe Hof, will spend a reported $7.2 million expanding its carded nonwovens production in Lincolnton, NC, a move that will result in the creation of 26 jobs. The company, formerly known as Hof Textiles, will receive a $50,000 grant from the One North Carolina Fund.
According to the company, the expansion will double the capacity for high engineered nonwovens at the site. These nonwovens target the North American automotives market.
