Korean company chooses Tencel

November 20, 2012

Yejimiin to launch sanitary pad featuring 100% Tencel.

Next month, Yejimiin, a Korean hygiene company, will launch a new generation of sanitary pads featuring a topsheet made completely of Tencel. The product will be sold in Korea as well as the U.S. where it will target Korean consumers.
In February, Yejimiin introduced a pantyliner featuring a topsheet based 100% on Tencel. Both products are the result of Yejimiin’s commitment to lessening the environmental impact of its final products while also satisfying women’s needs for a smooth surface.
“Yejimiin succeeded in launching another innovative feminine hygiene product that offers natural confidence and comfort,” says Elisabeth Stanger, marketing director of Lenzing’s business unti Nonwoven Fibers. “We at Lenzing are proud to be part of this success story. The cooperation with Yejimiin underlines our long term strategy to offer tailor made fibers for sensitive hygiene applications.”
