Maxcess has been awarded the 2012 Technology of the Year award from the Association of International Metallizers, Coaters and Laminators (AIMCAL) for its Tidland blade sharpening system.

According to AIMCAL, the judges were impressed by the Blade Sharpening System "because it turns an arduous chore into an easily accomplished task."

"As a result Ithink it will have a positive impact on quality since it will encourage everyone to sharpen their blades more often,"predicts one judge.
