Gil started his career at Chase Machine when he was 16 years old and, in 1984, bought the company. Under his leadership, Chase Machine grew from a manufacturer of equipment for the textile industry to complete machine and manufacturing system design for the medical, converting, filtration, textile, and geotextile industries. He also leaves his mother, Bertha, and a daughter, Monica and her husband David. Gil was passionate about his business and considered his employees to be family. He always said, “I am a happy man, I have a wonderful life” and that is a source of comfort to his family.
