Optima has announced that Oliver Rebstock will take on the responsibilities as the new managing director of Optima filling and packaging machines GmbH. Along with the company's technical managing director, Georg Pfeifer, Rebstock will be responsible for the Nonwovens (paper hygiene) Division. The 44-year-old engineer will assume responsibility for sales and service.
With experience in Optima sales, Rebstock brings continuity and fresh ideas for the improvement of customer benefits based on tailored packaging machinery and services. The company indicates that Rebstock will spearhead expansion of the company's international branches. Rebstock is a believer of Asia's and Africa's vast, yet untapped market potential.
