Andritz Perfojet has sold three more lines this year in China, after reporting it had sold three lines in the country six months ago.
Among its repeat customers is Shangahi BG Filter, who is ordering a second Spunjet line, six months after it installed a 6.6-meter line. The start-up of the new 3.6-meter line is scheduled for the firstquarter of next year and will make spunlace nonwovens for hot gas filtration applications.
Meanwhile, Zhejiang Huzhou Kingsafe, a Chinese leader in lighweight spunlace fabrics, will add a 3.5-meter spunlace line in Foshan, China. The new line will also feature an Andritz filtration system to increase production capacity and achieve maximum efficiency. This line is scheduled to be complete in the second quarter of 2012.
Andritz's third order, from Hangzhou Xiaoshan Phoenix Textile, is a 3.6 meter Jetlace Advantage unit including a through-air dryer. This line is designed to make lightweight fabrics for the hygiene market. It will start up in the second quarter of next year.
According to executives, these three orders reaffirm Andritz Perfojet's spot as a market leader in the Chinese spunlace market. Other recent customers including Zhejiang Spread Non-woven New Material and Jiaxing Furuisen Spunlaced Nonwovens.
