First Quality Pinpoints Chinese Location

Two-line plant to be built in Wuxi.

Nonwovens producer First Quality Nonwovens has finalized the location for its Chinese location, announcing it will begin construction in Wuxi. The U.S.-based company announced plans to build a nonwovens manufacturing plant in China in December but said it had not yet finalized a location.

The plans for the Wuxi facility call for two state-of-the-art nonwoven machines, the first of which will be operational by the second half of 2012.

 

The company’s new investment in China is another demonstration of First

Quality’s commitment to the global nonwoven industry and its dedication to

satisfying the needs of the domestic Chinese market by providing innovative andhigh quality products, executives said.
