Barnhardt, Marusan Strike Partnership Deal

Companies will advance cotton business globally.

At INDEX Barnhardt Natural Fibers Group of the U.S. and Marusan Industries of Japan announced a joint collaboration of their sales and marketing of bleached cotton fibers, sourcing of raw cotton fibers globally, technology exchange and other associated synergies between the two companies. The companies have had a 10-year relationship and have done a lot of benchmarking together. "This new collaboration brings the best of the two cotton suppliers to the world," said George Hargrove, vice president of sales and marketing for Barnhardt.
