April 13, 2011

System can make thin pads with high SAP content.

Fameccanica used INDEX to introduce the new U-Forming System design, capable of producing ultra-thin pads with high SAP content; thanks to the most accurate pressing technology installed, the pad also maintains very high integrity and a very low weight variation.

Fameccanica also presented several new ideas and technologies in machinery and process areas. The new features will enable Fameccanica equipment to reach the highest production speeds and outstanding process performances. The company introduced its new high-speed range of machines, including new baby diaper line and an adult incontinence line, both designed to prioritize efficiency and waste levels aimed at lowest unitary finished product cost, simplify the retrofitting of future upgrade kits with shot delivery times and reduce installation effort.

In the machinery theme, Fameccanica also includes the new Paksis N-12 packaging unit for lady sanitary napkins, panty-liners and light-inco pads, flat or tri-folded, thin or thick.
