Tutorials Planned For Wednesday

April 12, 2011

Attendees can learn about nonwovens or absorbents.

Show organizer EDANA will sponsor several tutorials free-of-charge throughout the INDEX Show. These one-hour introductory tutorials will provide fundamental entry level information on what nonwovens are, how they are formed and consolidated, what are the materials of choice and where they are manufactured. The session is intended for newcomers to the industry or any interested potential user of nonwovens in one or more of their multiple end-uses and is not intended to replace EDANA’s full 2½ days training course.
There will be two tutorials Wednesday in the Hall 4 conference area. A nonwovens tutorial will be presented noon-1 p.m. and an absorbent hygiene products tutorial will be held 1-2 p.m. Additionally, a nonwovens tutorial will be held Thursday. All of the tutorials will be led by Jean-Michel Anspach, technical and education director, EDANA.
