EDANA launched the latest Sustainability Report to update the industry and its stakeholders on the achievements to date and the commitment by the industry to further raise its efforts in the sustainability field.
Pierre Wiertz, EDANA’s general manager said, “The nonwovens and related industries are considered to be among the most sustainable industries in Europe. Pioneers in sector environmental management, we provide essential everyday products to society and are important contributors to economic wealth and competitiveness. The industry strives to be more efficient in its use of resources to minimize its environmental impact and to encourage sustainable consumption.”
In conjunction with the study, EDANAhas launched a new website dedicated to sustainability at www.sustainability.edana.org.
