Turkey's Selcuk will enter airlaid market late next year.
At INDEX 11, machinery specialist Oerlikon Neumag will announce that in March 2011 it received an order for an airlaid line with a capacity of 7000 tons per year. Turkey-based Selcuk Group, a leading producer of yarns and textiles in the region of Gaziantepan market, will add the new line, which will be able to produce a wide range of airlaid nonwovens for different applications such as feminine hygiene products, table top products, wet wipes and various other applications. The line will start up at the end of 2012 and will be marketing airlaid products from a newly formed Selcuk subsidiary, Karweb Air-Laid Products.

Karweb Air-Laid Products will enter the airlaid market with a very strong partner who facilitates us to be successful and competitive in the long term,” said Oktay Kara, CEO of Selcuk Group.
