SCA has implemented three internal changes to its corporate senior management team. Christoph Michalski has been appointed president of the SCA global hygiene category. Mr. Michalski currently holds the position of president of SCA Asia-Pacific.
Ulf Söderström has been named president of SCA Asia-Pacific. Mr. Söderström is currently senior vice president business development and strategy and is also responsible for mergers and acquisitions, business intelligence and IT.
Robert Sjöström has been named senior vice president of business development and strategy. He will also be responsible for mergers and acquisitions, business intelligence and IT. Mr. Sjöström is currently president of SCA’s global hygiene category.
"These changes will allow us to capitalize on the collective know-how of our leaders. We are working continuously to develop the organization and our managers with the aim of advancing our business. These changes are part of this effort," said Jan Johansson, president and CEO of SCA.
Mr. Michalski, Mr. Söderström and Mr. Sjöström will continue to serve as members of the corporate senior management team and report to the CEO.
The changes are effective March 31, 2011.
