Klaus Holz Named As Trevira’s CEO

December 15, 2010

Mr. Holz replaces Uwe Wöhner.

Uwe Wöhner is relinquishing his position as CEO of Trevira at the end of the year, for private reasons. Klaus Holz, the longstanding head of corporate human resources at the company, will become CEO on January 1, 2011.

Mr. Holz previously served in various capacities in personnel units of the former Hoechst-Konzern before joining Trevira.

“In his time as CEO of Trevira Uwe Wöhner shaped the company decisively. In a period of crisis he ensured continuity, implemented the restructuring, and created the preconditions for the present situation, one where the company has a solid base for a profitable business and where it was in a position to maintain the confidence of customers and partners,” said Werner Schneider, chair of the supervisory board.
