Lydall’s net sales for the third quarter ended Sept. 30 were $83.8 million compared to $66.1 million for the same period in 2009. Excluding the negative impact of foreign currency translation, net sales increased $20.7 million, or 31.3%, in the third quarter of 2010 compared to the third quarter of 2009.
In the Performance Materials segment, net sales in the third quarter of 2010, excluding foreign currency translation, increased 31.1% compared to the third quarter of 2009.
In the Thermal/Acoustical segment, net sales increased 28.0% compared to the third quarter of 2009, excluding foreign currency translation.
