The IDEAAchievement Awards, recognizing the best new nonwoven and engineered fabric products introduced during the last three years, were presented in five categories in a special ceremony this morning at IDEA. The awards were co-sponsored by INDA, Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry, and Nonwovens Industry.
"IDEA10 is the only place this year that the entire nonwovens industry is in one place at the same time and it is appropriate that the Achievement Awards be presented here because these companies and individuals have contributed greatly to the advancement of our industry,"said Rory Holmes, INDApresident.
In the equipment category, ITW Dynatec's Vector Modular metering platform took home this year's prize; Bostik's Relyance adhesive was honored in the raw material category; Spinlace, from PGI, was honored in the roll goods category; Henkel/Dial's Purex 3-in-1 laundry detergent sheets received the price for short-life converted product; and DuPont Nomex KD won in the long-life converted product category.
