DAK Americas LLC announced it is reviewing the Eastman Chemical Company Patent Infringement complaint filed against DAK on March 1, 2010. The complaint alleges patent infringement of three Eastman patents that represent a portion of Eastman’s IntegRex™ PET Technology.
“DAK Americas respects the intellectual property of others and we conduct ourselves with the highest degree of integrity in all of our businesses,” said Hector Camberos, President & C.E.O., DAK Americas. “We are in the process of reviewing the case and deny all allegations. We plan to vigorously defend ourselves against the suit’s claims.”
Eastman filed its complaint in the United States District Court for the District of Delaware. Eastman previously filed a lawsuit against Indorama companies located in the United States, Europe, and Thailand in connection with their unauthorized use of IntegRex™ PET technology.
