Suominen Nonwovens has named a new sales manager

Suominen Nonwovens has named a new sales manager, Jarmo Karjalainen. Mr. Karjalainen joins Suominen from Kuitu Finland Oy, where he worked as sales and product development manager. He has ex­tensive experience with nonwovens due to his working history with Suominen Non­wovens in various positions such as development manager and production engineer.

"With this recruitment Suo­minen Non­wovens further strengthens its customer service and ability to create customer specific solutions," commented Paul-Erik Toivo, general manager of Suo­minen Wiping.

In other recent news at Suominen, the company, as previously announced, has ap­pointed two new account managers, Marika Aarnio-Mäkilä and Alex­ander Maxi­mov. Ms. Aar­nio-Mäkilä joined Suominen from Kuitu Finland Oy, where she worked as a sales manager. She has extensive experience with nonwovens due to her previous employment with Suominen Non­wovens in various sales and marketing-related positions, primarily as a sales manager. Mr. Maximov operates from Suo­minen’s sales office in St. Petersburg, Russia. With this appointment, Suominen Nonwovens expects to further strengthen its presence in the Russian market.
