Avgol Strikes Partnership in Nanofibers

Spunmelt maker to create pilot line using Elmarco technology.

Spunmelt nonwovens maker Avgol has partnered with a leading machinery manufacturer in the nanofibers market to establish a pilot line for the production of nonwoven fabrics. Through the technology corporation Avgol, who is based in Tel Aviv and operates plants in North Carolina, Russia and China, will use Elmarco's proprietary technology to make nonwoven fabrics.

It is expected to take about a year to complete the pilot project and Avgol has decided to invest nearly €2 million for the development of this facility.
