Procter & Gamble recently hosted 350 of its top global suppliers in Cincinnati, OH to discuss their continued collaboration with P&G for a sustainable future and to honor top performing suppliers.
“Our suppliers are critical partners in helping us bring innovation to life, manage our costs and improve productivity,” explained P&G’s Global Product Supply Officer Keith Harrison. “With the current global economic uncertainty, strong relationships with suppliers are more important than ever to achieving P&G’s sustainability goals and supporting the company’s growth today and going forward.”
Among the companies receiving “Suppliers of the Year” designations was: Nippon Shokubai of Tokyo, Japan providing absorbent gel material for P&G’s diaper business.
Other suppliers honored in P&G’s nonwovens-related businesses included Attends Healthcare, BASF, Evonik Stockhausen, Fibertex, Fabio Perini, Heng Chang Machinery, Magic SpA, Pegas Nonwovens and RKW.
