Klenzpod Dispensing System Wins WOW Award

Winner announced at WOW event yesterday in Chicago.

Yesterday in Chicago at INDA’s second annual World Of Wipes (WOW) Conference, the winner of the inaugural WOW Innovation Award was announced. Taking first place among the six finalists was the Klenzpod Wet Wipe Dispensing System, which was designed and presented by Mick Gordon, managing director of London-based Sound Approach Ltd.

The system consists of elegant dispensers with a hygienic spent-wipe disposal facility, nozzles that ensure single wipe dispensing and wipe perforations designed to leave a tail for the next user. The suite of products within the KlenzPod product range is covered by ten different patent filings and design registrations. The product features are the result of feedback and suggestions made by potential users during the course of market research.

Selected from more than thirty products nominated for the WOW Award, the five other finalists included: AquaPuff Expandable Ink from Polytex Environmental Inks; Bamboo Household Cleaning Wipes by Method Products; the Care Dynamics Handwashing Towelette from Care Dynamics, Inc.; Environmentally Sensitive Baby Wipes submitted by Rockline Industries and Strateline Industries; and the Natural Choice Flushable Wet Wipe from Ahlstrom Nonwovens and Rockline Industries.
