FiberVisions To Raise Prices

Fiber prices will increase by 2-10% depending on geographic location and fiber type.

FiberVisions, a supplier of polyolefin staple fibers, has announced a global price increase on its mono polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) fibers effective July 1, 2008 or as contracts allow. Fiber prices will increase by 2-10% depending on geographic location and fiber type.

“FiberVisions is experiencing unprecedented increases in the cost of raw and process materials, energy, transportation and packaging, which our own internal cost reduction efforts have not been able to offset,” commented Dr. Steve Wood, CEO of FiberVisions. “These price increases will allow us to maintain our commitment to delivering innovative, high quality products and superior service. We appreciate our customers’ understanding of these difficult economic conditions.”
