The organizers of the three key industry trade shows in the Americas—ATME-I/MEGATEX, SPESA Expo and Techtextil North America—have reached a landmark agreement to co-locate and align their trade shows at the Georgia World Congress Center, Atlanta, GA on May 18-20, 2010. The three shows will take place in adjacent halls during the same dates, allowing attendees exposure to all three events at once.
Organized by MesseFrankfurt TTNA has been held alternating years in Atlanta since 2000 but is set to become an annual event, rotating between east and west coast locations, next year when it is held in Las Vegas. Sister exhibitions include Techtextil, held biennially in Frankfurt, Germany, Techtextil Russia and Cinte Techtextil China.
Held every four years, ATME–I, is sponsored by the American Textile Machinery Association. It moved from Greenville, SC to Atlanta in 2006. It features a wide range of textile machinery.
SPESA Expo, which organized by the Raleigh, N.C.-based Sewn Products Equipment & Suppliers of the Americas (SPESA), is a triennial exhibition and symposium focusing on equipment, technology and services for the global sewn products industry.
