Parkinson Technologies, Woonsocket, RI, has sold a continuous automatic surface winder to Pune, India-based Aim Filtertech Pvt ltd. The new winder will be used as part of a manufacturing line to produce nonwoven air filtration products.
Founded in 2001, Aim Filtertech manufactures air filtration products and medical disposables and sells its products throughout Europe, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and the Indian sub-continent. “We are growing our business and investing in new machinery and technology,” said Dhiren Shah, director of Aim Filtertech. “After doing a global search for the best winding machinery and the best value, we decided on Parkinson. They have the technology, nonwovens experience and the customer support we feel is necessary to help us succeed.”
