Monadnock Non-Wovens LLC (MNW), Mount Pocono, PA, a manufacturer of meltblown synthetic media for the filtration, homeland security, consumer/healthcare and battery separator markets, has received certification for compliance with ISO9001:2000.

Monadnock Non-Wovens LLC (MNW), Mount Pocono, PA, a manufacturer of meltblown synthetic media for the filtration, homeland security, consumer/healthcare and battery separator markets, has received certification for compliance with ISO9001:2000. Through the certification, MNW expects to gain access to new markets, grow exports and ensure customer satisfaction. The company has invested more than $1.5 million in equipment over the last two years, which has doubled its manufacturing capacity. MNW has increased staff levels by 25% year-to-date and plans to add another 20%. Additionally, the company built a new laboratory in its production area to improve efficiency and significantly improve testing cycle time. According to managing director Keith Hayward, “These significant changes, along with our ISO quality certification, validate our existing quality program and are an integral part of our ongoing plan for improvement.”
