Elsner Chairman Dies

Frank Elsner, Jr. of Elsner Engineering Works, Hanover, PA, died on August 30, 2007 at the age of 80 after a brief illness.

Frank Elsner, Jr. of Elsner Engineering Works, Hanover, PA, died on August 30, 2007 at the age of 80 after a brief illness. In 1967, Mr. Elsner assumed the second-generation role of president and treasurer of the family firm, a title he retained until his retirement in 1993.  Mr. Elsner’s career spanned 38 years with the family business. Upon his retirement, he assumed the role of chairman of the board of directors. Mr. Elsner was a registered Professional Engineer and held several patents.
