July 17, 2007

Line to be built in Mexico.

Welspun, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of bed linen and terry towels, has agreed to buy a thermal bonded line from Asselin-Thibeau. The turnkey thermobonding wadding line will be housed at Welspun’s Mexico plant. It includes the supply of an Excelle card with improved visual access, ease of maintenance and user-friendly features to revolutionize the traditional perception of nonwoven cards. The line also includes a high speed crosslapper, type P.525 featuring the Ouat!sys system. Compared to conventional modern lines, the Ouat!sys system enables the complete line to produce effectively at 30% increased speeds at the in-feed of the crosslapper when running with a bulky, condensed card
