Earlier this month, Rieter sold a spunlace machine to the well- known Taiwanese nonwovens producer, Nan Liu Enterprise Co. Ltd., which has already several spunlace lines from Rieter in operation.

For this new investment, the Nan Liu company decided to invest in the widest hydroentanglement line ever installed in all Asia. This Rieter spunlace line, JETlace® 3000, will be installed at Pinghu P.R.C. facility and will produce state-of-the-art spunlace fabrics dedicated to wipes and surgical markets. The new line is scheduled to come onstream during the second quarter 2008.
