Fitesa Makes Line Announcement

Brazilian nonwovens producer Fitesa announced at IDEA 2007 it would install a second Reicofil 4 line. The 4.2 meter line will be able to produce 15,000 metric tons of spunmelt nonwovens and will come onstream during the second half of next year. According to the company, the new line will help it target both domestic and international markets. Fitesa added its first spunmelt line, at 3.2-meter Reicofil line in July 2006. The new line will bring the company’s total capacity to more than 55,000 tons per year.
