Executives from Croda Inc., Stepan Co. and Unilever are the newest members of The Soap and Detergent Association (SDA) board of directors. During SDA’s 81st annual meeting and industry convention in Boca Raton, FL, the board elected: Kevin Gallagher, president, Croda; John Venegoni, vice president and general manager-surfactants, Stepan Company; and William Littlefield, vice president and general manager of laundry, Unilever US. The current term of the new board members lasts through January 2008. In other actions, the board re-elected the association’s officers for 2007: chair–George Calvert, vice president, research and development/quality assurance, Access Business Group; vice chair-Frank Sherman, president and general manager, surfactants, Akzo Nobel; president–Ernie Rosenberg, SDA president & CEO; treasurer–Robert Bartlett, global sales manager, Bradford Soap Works; corporate secretary–Michelle Radecki, SDA general counsel.
