    Hirose Ups Separator Output
Hirose Paper, a producer of special separators for alkali dry cell batteris, is going to increase its proudciton capacity by 50% through a new plant scheduled to start regular production in June 2007. The separators are made from wetlaid nonwovens comprised of vinylon fibers that are produced by Hirose Paper, Nippon Kidosi and others in Japan. Although Nippon Kodosi has the top share in the Japanese market, Hirose Paper intends to grow by satisfying increasing demand.
