Lydall Filtration/Separation Inc., a supplier of media for high-efficiency filtration applications, has introduced a significant addition to its LydAir MG product line. LydAir ElementsMG is comprised of a new category of biosoluble glass microfibers and meets the European Union’s rigorous biosolubility criteria.
“The new product line has been made possible through a combination of groundbreaking material development from Johns Manville and process innovations within our media manufacturing,” said Aaron Frost, marketing manager of air filtration. “LydAir ElementsMG can be fabricated into filters using traditional pleating methods and is commercially available over the entire range of efficiency specifications, ASHRAE to ULPA. This new media will be manufactured at sites in both North America and Europe for all geographic markets.”
ElementsMG innovation is also available in LyPore MG liquid filtration products for Engine & Industrial and Life Sciences market applications.
