Nordenia Restructures In North America

June 20, 2006

Nordenia International will cease operations at its Belleville, Canada facility in September as part of an ongoing restructuring of its North American operations. The Germany-based manufacturer of flexible packaging solutions began making diaper bags at the Belleville site in 1989 and added flexo-printing capabilities in 1996.

Nordenia initiated the North American restructuring after many of its U.S. customers consolidated, limiting growth opportunities in Canada. The company will focus its efforts on its Nordenia USA division in Jackson, MO, from where it will serve its entire North American base.
