Propex CFO To Retire

Lee McCarter has been named as replacement for Philip Barnes as CFO of Propex Fabrics, effective Jan. 1, 2007. For the remainder of the year, Mr. Barnes will work to establish certain global finance functions, including external reporting, SOX compliance and treasury management functions, at the company's new Chattanooga, TN headquarters location. In 2007, Mr. McCarter served as CFO of the SI Corporation, which was acquired by Propex earlier this year, where he has worked since 2000.
