The partnership has already resulted in PGI Difco expanding its product portfolio to offer knitted sheared fleece FR fabrics for use in garments worn by electricians and utility line workers. These protective garments are designed to offer protection against electrical arcs, a growing area in FR apparel, to meet National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 70E regulations.
