Industry Mourns J. Richard Mallon

J. Richard Mallon, 67, passed away on October 31, 2005. Mr. Mallon served as senior marketing manager for Scott Paper Co. for 35 years before retiring as director of the nonwovens division. After that, he owned and operated JRM Associates, Inc. in Claymont, DE. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. After his service, he continued his education, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from the University of Delaware. Mr. Mallon is survived by his wife of 45 years, Patricia Lenzi Mallon; three sons, Jason Mallon of Tri-Cities, WA, J.R. Mallon of Claymont and Joseph Mallon of Ridley Park, PA; one daughter, Renee Eck of Wilmington; and seven grandchildren.
