Dan-Web A/S has completed a corporate restructuring following a period of low order intake that the company attributes to excess capacity in the global airlaid industry. The three former companies Den-Webforming International A/S, Dan-Web Research & Development A/S and Dan-Core International A/S have now been merged into a single company, Dan-Web A/S. The company, which will focus on Dan-Web’s core airlaid machine business, will serve the established nonwovens market as well as the emerging bio-mass materials market.
The newly restructured company will be managed by Jann Mosgaard. Meanwhile, Kenn Mosgaard will be dedicating his efforts toward specific new developments relating to airlaid materials.
According to Jann Mosgaard, “Dan-Web is currently underway with plans to build a second airlaid pilot line, which has been engineered toward alternative raw materials. The existing pilot line will be dedicated to Dan-Web’s continuous efforts in the field of R&D of airlaid production equipment and products.”
