Sauer Continues Acquisition Streak

Saurer has acquired a 100% stake in ERMAFA Kunststofftechnik Chemnitz effective retroactively from January 1. In the current year, ERMAFA Kunststofftechnik will generate sales of some EUR 6m. It will be integrated into the Saurer business unit Barmag. ERMAFA Kunststofftechnik has been active in the plastics and rubber processing machinery business for 50 years and specializes in the domains of extrusion engineering. The company has extensive know-how and experience in these domains thanks to its broad installed capacity base.

A key segment of the product portfolio are polyester and polyolefin recycling plants which will also allow the recycling of filament waste from the Barmag plants.
