MŲlnlycke changes ownership

Nordic Capital and other major shareholders have entered into a definitve agreement to sell Mölnlycke Health Care to funds advised by Apax Partners, one of the world's leading private equity investment groups. Headquartered in Sweden, Mölnlycke Heathcare develops,l manufactures and sells single-use products for professional use in surgical and woundcare applications throughout the world Mölnlycke Health Care was created in 1997 when Nordic acquired SCA and Tamro Kolmist. Since its establishment, Molnlycke has become a large global player through restructuring and the acquisition of J&J's surgical care business. The company manufactures goods in Finland, Belgium, Czech Republic, Mexico and Thailand have has 4000 employees and annual sales of 477 million.
