Machine vision system and vision sensor provider, Cognex, Natick, MA, has announced that its PatMax is now available on its In-Sight vision sensors. PatMax provides accurate feature location, despite changes in image angle, size, rotation and appearance. With up to 10 times greater accuracy than other pattern machine technologies, PatMax easily handles variations in appearance caused by process variations, reflective surfaces, partial inclusion, nonlinear changes in lighting or uneven image formation.
